Morbid Life Society - 1991 and 1988 Demos CS
$8.00
MORBID LIFE SOCIETY were a late-1980s Bay Area crossover band that combined the speed of crossover with the hooks and politics of hardcore punk - this at a time when the scene shifted towards pop-punk or grunge metal. After their 1988 demo, MxLxSx continued to refine their style, incorporating influences from early NEUROSIS which you can hear in the 1991 demo. Guitarist Alex Yeung went on to play in bands such as SAY BOK GWAI, CONQUEST FOR DEATH and THESE BASTARDS. This includes both demos: 1991 (Tracks 1-4) and 1988 (tracks 5-10); co-release by 625 and Monkey King Records; limited to 200.
